Megan’s practice focuses on patent infringement litigation.

She represents clients in a variety of technological fields, particularly in the pharmaceutical and chemical arts. Her experience also includes inter partes review (IPR) proceedings. Megan has been involved in all phases of litigation, including motions practice, discovery, trial, and appeal.

Prior to attending law school, Megan worked as a research and development chemist for a specialty chemical manufacturer, developing new synthetic products and optimizing existing manufacturing processes.

Megan has been included in IAM Patent 1000, Chambers USA, and Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch for her patent and intellectual property work.

Experience

Secured a positive result for the defendants in an inventorship and breach of contract action that spanned multiple years. Doda v. Waste Management, C.A. No. 17-604-CFC-SRF (D. Del.)

Represented Next Caller, a subsidiary of Pindrop, at trial in a patent infringement action relating to call authentication solutions used by call centers. Jury returned verdict in favor of Next Caller, finding no infringement of three patents, which was upheld by the Federal Circuit. Represented Recro Gainesville LLC as a member of a lead counsel team in patent infringement cases in the District of Delaware involving Zohydro® ER, an extended release hydrocodone formulation.
