American Bankruptcy Institute’s Winter Leadership Conference 2021

Derek Abbott will speak at the American Bankruptcy Institute’s Winter Leadership Conference. The WLC annual program features topics designed for consumer and business practitioners, as well as financial advisors.

Derek will moderate the December 10 session, “Mass Tort Chapter 11 Cases Today: Sexual Abuse, Opioid and Asbestos Cases.” The panel will discuss and analyze complex mass tort chapter 11 issues, including current issues involving future claims, nonconsensual releases, and plan confirmation issues.
