Qorvo Wins Permanent Injunction, Following Nearly $40mm Jury Verdict

On October 15, 2024, a federal judge ruled that Morris Nichols client Qorvo, Inc. is entitled to a permanent injunction blocking Akoustis Technologies Inc. from infringing two patents. The judge also ordered the purging of Qorvo’s trade secrets from Akoustis’ systems. This follows a May 2024 jury trial win, where Qorvo was awarded nearly $40 million. Morris Nichols attorneys Jack Blumenfeld, Jeremy Tigan, and Anthony Raucci represented Qorvo along with co-counsel from Sheppard Mullin.
