Wilmington, DE (May 31, 2018) - The Legal 500 United States 2018 has ranked Morris, Nichols, Arsht & Tunnell LLP in its nationwide guide to the leading law firms in the United States.

This is the fourth year in a row that Morris Nichols earned recognition in two mergers and acquisitions categories - “Dispute resolution: M&A: litigation: defense” and “M&A/corporate and commercial: M&A: middle-market (sub-$500m).” The Legal 500 organizes each practice area into a single national ranking to highlight a small number of elite firms in the United States with a national presence and sophisticated and complex work.

Touting the firm’s M&A practice, Legal 500 sources report, “the partners have focused on this work at a high level for their entire careers and have built up an unparalleled level of experience and knowledge in Delaware law.”

The publication highlights the work of nine Morris Nichols attorneys in M&A litigation, corporate and commercial law. Partners William M. Lafferty and Kenneth J. Nachbar are identified as “Leading Lawyers” in the “Dispute resolution: M&A: litigation: defense” practice area, appearing among just 23 top M&A trial lawyers selected for inclusion.
