Morris Nichols Supports the Food Bank of Delaware to Fight Hunger

Morris Nichols is proud to announce a $20,000 donation to the Food Bank of Delaware this holiday season in support of its vital mission to provide nourishment to Delawareans and pursue long-term solutions to hunger and poverty.

Along with the monetary donation, Morris Nichols employees organized a food drive, generously donating more than 100 cans and boxes of food to benefit the Food Bank of Delaware. We are grateful to our team for their commitment and willingness to contribute to this important cause.

“We are honored to partner with the Food Bank of Delaware in its mission to provide food and support to our neighbors,” said Bill Lafferty, chair of Morris Nichols’ executive committee. “There is no better time than the holiday season to stand together and support our fellow Delawareans.”

Over the past four decades, the Food Bank of Delaware has expanded from its beginnings in a small church basement into a statewide network of more than 700 partners. Each year, it distributes millions of pounds of food and provides nutrition education to support families. Beyond food assistance, the Food Bank offers programs such as workforce training, financial coaching, and help accessing food benefits, all aimed at strengthening long-term stability for Delawareans.
