Client Alert

The District of Delaware issued a Standing Order today, stating that the Court will enter Phase 3 of its Covid Re-Opening Guidelines on June 7, 2021. Phase 3 begins a return to normal operations and permits the Court to resume in-person proceedings based on the discretion of the presiding judge. For the time being, the Court will hold only one jury trial at a time, and social distancing requirements remain in effect in all public common areas of the courthouse, but the Court expects to be able to hold simultaneous jury trials when the public health threat diminishes.
