District of Delaware Cancels All Jury Trials Scheduled to Begin Before April 5

The District of Delaware issued a Standing Order today, canceling all civil and criminal jury trials until on or after April 5, 2021, in light of the ongoing impact of the coronavirus pandemic. Under the Standing Order, each judge retains the discretion to proceed with a jury trial in emergency or truly urgent situations. The Court otherwise continues to remain open and operational.
