Society for Corporate Governance 2021 National Conference

From June 28-July 1, 2021, the Society for Corporate Governance hosts its annual conference. The 2021 theme celebrates a “New Era of Governance” to address governance professionals’ needs today and those that are around the corner.

On June 30, Morris Nichols partner Patricia Vella will speak in the session on “Delaware Law & Litigation Developments.” Esteemed co-panelists include The Honorable Leo E. Strine, Jr. (former Chief Justice and Chancellor, Delaware), and David A. Katz (Wachtell).

Session topics include: emerging controlling stockholder and M&A issues, Section 220, privilege developments, best practices for process documentation and disclosure coordination, Zoom meetings and their implications for Board process and documentation, and dissident directors and their effect on Board procedures and functioning.
