The Practising Law Institute (PLI) hosts the half-day program, “Shareholder Activism 2025: The Old, the New, and the Unexpected,” on October 17, 2025, with both in-person and virtual attendance options available in New York City. The program addresses the continuing rise of shareholder activism and provides guidance for navigating the 2026 proxy season.

Morris Nichols corporate counseling partner Kyle Pinder serves as program co-chair and speaks on two panels: “2025 Proxy Season and M&A Activism Trends and Takeaways” and “Activism Preparedness 101: What to Do if You are a Target.” Together with fellow panelists, Kyle discusses current shareholder activism trends, potential responses to threatened activist activity, and the impact of recent Delaware case law on decision-making.
