PLI’s Mergers & Acquisitions 2023: Advanced Trends and Developments

From January 18-19, 2023, the Practising Law Institute hosts “Mergers & Acquisitions 2023: Advanced Trends and Developments,” an annual program featuring insights from leading US legal and investment banking professionals.  

Morris Nichols partner Patricia Vella serves as program faculty. She co-leads the January 18 panel session, “Special Committees in M&A Transactions” with speakers including Hon. Kathaleen St. J. McCormick. Discussion topics include:

• Best practices for special committee processes, including independence issues
• Managing conflicts of interest in the special committee’s creation and deliberations
• Litigation issues to avoid in a special committee process
