The American Bar Association hosts the ABA Business Law Section Spring Meeting in Atlanta, April 16-18, 2026. The annual event brings together legal professionals from around the world to explore the latest trends shaping the future of business law. Two Morris Nichols partners participate as committee leaders and speakers.

Tarik Haskins joins the program, “DExit: A Possible Corporate Exodus from Delaware and the Future of Jurisdictional Competition,” on April 16 from 10:00 am to 11:30 am ET. The panel explores recent “DExit” discussions, examining the factors driving reincorporation decisions while reinforcing Delaware’s continued position as the leading jurisdiction for corporate governance.

Corporate Counseling partner Patricia Vella serves as Delaware Liaison to the Mergers & Acquisitions Committee, which is celebrating its 40th anniversary of the committee. At the M&A Committee meeting on April 18, Tricia chairs the discussion “The Delaware Courts and M&A,” where she is joined by panelists Vice Chancellor Lori W. Will and former Vice Chancellor Joseph R. Slights III to reflect on 40 years of Delaware corporate law developments and their impact on M&A practice.
