Furniture Retailer Enters Ch. 11 with Plans for Swift Asset Sale

On August 28, 2025, Walker Edison Holdco LLC and three of its affiliates (collectively, the “Debtors”) filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in the US Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware. Morris Nichols represents the company as lead debtors’ counsel.

Walker Edison plans to pursue a sale process of their assets to furniture designer and manufacturer Twin-Star International, which serves as the stalking horse bidder. An auction is planned for late September.
