Elise is an experienced trial attorney and appellate advocate in Morris Nichols’ Corporate & Commercial Litigation practice.

Having worked on a variety of complex commercial civil disputes, Elise brings courtroom experience in jury and bench trials before the Delaware Superior Court’s Complex Commercial Litigation Division (CCLD), the Delaware Chancery Court, the Delaware Supreme Court, and other Delaware courts.

Elise started her legal career focused on criminal defense cases, where she gained valuable trial experience. As a result, she is well-versed in organizing exhibits and evidence to flow logically, cross-examining witnesses and adverse experts, selecting a jury, and presenting opening and closing arguments. Elise draws upon this range of experience to develop strategies focused on her clients’ goals, whether through trial, motion practice, or settlement negotiations.

Before joining Morris Nichols, Elise worked in the complex litigation department at another prominent Delaware law firm.

Active in pro bono and community organizations, Elise serves as an attorney guardian ad litem in the Family Court for the State of Delaware, participates in expungement clinics, and partners with the Equal Justice Initiative.
