
Christine Kawon Fletcher
Christine is an associate with the Commercial Law Counseling group.
Her practice focuses on Delaware alternative entity law, including partnership, limited liability company, and statutory trust law, as well as unclaimed property. She counsels clients on structuring and governance matters involving Delaware alternative entities, with a focus on fiduciary duties, contractual rights and the formation and operation of private equity funds, joint ventures and other investment vehicles, as well as in connection with mergers and acquisitions.
As a contributor to Morris Nichols publications on Delaware alternative entity caselaw and series LLCs, Christine regularly monitors decisions involving those business structures under Delaware law.
Christine is a mentor to law students and new attorneys, and she has spoken on her experience practicing in Delaware. In spring 2025, she was a panelist at Temple University Beasley School of Law’s “Careers in Transactional Law” event. In summer 2024, Christine was selected as the new lawyer speaker at the Delaware Bar Admission Ceremony before the Delaware Supreme Court, where she addressed the court and newly admitted attorneys.
Christine is a former judicial law clerk to the Honorable Vivian L. Medinilla of the Superior Court of Delaware. She also gained valuable experience as a judicial intern to both Judge Medinilla and the Honorable Craig A. Karsnitz of the Delaware Superior Court.
During law school, Christine served as lead research editor of the Temple Law Review and received the Staff Editor of the Year Award. She was also vice president of the Business Law Society and first-year representative of the Asian-Pacific American Law Student Association. In recognition of her student involvement and high academic achievement, she received the Jerry Zaslow Memorial Award.
