2013 Delaware Trust Conference

Morris Nichols Trusts, Estates & Tax Group partners Todd Flubacher and Thomas Pulsifer will be featured speakers on separate panels during the 2013 Delaware Trust Conference at the Hotel du Pont in Wilmington, Delaware, October 1-2, 2013.

Todd will moderate the October 1 panel, Trust Migration and Modification, an analysis of the various means of moving a trust between jurisdictions and making modifications to the governing instrument, to include discussions regarding merger, decanting, trust modification, trust reformation and non-judicial settlements.

Tom will participate on the October 2 panel, Pre-marital Planning with Asset Protection Trusts, a discussion of the requirements and enforceability of prenups and how Delaware Asset Protection Trusts (DAPTs) can be used as an alternative when a prenup is impractical, undesirable or potentially unenforceable.

The 2013 Delaware Trust Conference solely focuses on the unique aspects of the Delaware trust industry. Over 50 national and international trust, legal, and accounting experts will present on topics specific to personal and corporate trusts in this singular venue for trust and wealth management professionals, attorneys, CPAs and others in related fields.
