23rd National M&A Institute
The American Bar Association hosts the 23rd National M&A Institute from November 8-9, 2018 in Las Vegas. The two-day program will feature in-depth discussions on negotiating business acquisitions presented by nationally-recognized mergers and acquisitions attorneys.
Morris Nichols partner Patricia Vella serves as program faculty and will provide Delaware law perspective in two panel sessions on November 9. The “Private Equity Buyers” program will explain the special issues that need to be addressed in M&A transactions involving PE buyers. In the “Acquiring a Public Company” session, panelists will describe how acquisitions of public companies differ from acquisitions of privately held companies in the context of cash acquisitions as well as “stock-for-stock” transactions.
