Morris Nichols Welcomes New Director of Professional Development and Recruitment

Wilmington, DE (April 2, 2018) - Morris, Nichols, Arsht & Tunnell LLP is pleased to welcome Crystal D. Deazle as Director of Professional Development and Recruitment. This newly created role will focus on recruiting associate candidates and developing and retaining the firm’s attorneys.

Morris Nichols attracts candidates from top-tier law schools and delivers sophisticated legal counsel on a range of Delaware law issues. This new role will also focus on fostering the professional development of the firm’s associates as well as advancing Morris Nichols’ commitment to diversity.

Crystal brings more than a decade of experience in law school career services. Working in recruiting, career counseling, and employer relations roles at the Widener University Delaware Law School and the University of Pennsylvania Law School, she has honed an understanding of what motivates and drives young lawyers. A champion for diversity in the workplace, Crystal co-chaired the National Association for Law Placement (NALP) Diversity Initiative in 2010 and served on the board of the Philadelphia Area Diversity Job Fair (PADJF) from 2004 to 2015.

Crystal is a 2001 graduate of Cornell Law School and earned her M.L.A. in African American history and urban studies from the University of Pennsylvania. She has a B.S. in industrial and labor relations, also from Cornell University.
