Finance Clerk
Morris, Nichols, Arsht & Tunnell LLP seeks a full-time Finance Clerk to support our Finance/Accounting Department. The successful candidate for the role will be technologically savvy, possess a general understanding of financial transactions and practices, and will work well under pressure in a team setting.
Core Responsibilities
- Assist in Accounts Payable functions related to invoice management as well as data input
- Work with Director of Finance on special projects such as budgeting and forecasting
- Assist in maintenance of Firm credit card program including reconciliations and data migration to the Firm’s financial system
- Communicate with vendors, clients, and colleagues on financial workflows
- Ensure compliance with the Firms internal controls and cost policies
- Updating and maintaining the database, financial records, and filing systems
- Reviewing financial records, documents, and information to ensure their accuracy
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or similar experience
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in MS Office with strengths in Excel
- Proven track record of reliability and responsibility
- General understanding of financial transactions and practices
